NEW 2024 Illiana Quilts of Honor Goals:
1) To Honor area Illiana Combat Veterans and Service Members through Quilts of Honor.
2) Create and award a minimum of fifty (50) Quilts of Honor to area Combat Vets.
3) Share the QOH Mission with those who wish to also help support our Volunteer efforts to Honor and Thank our Combat Veterans for their Service and Sacrifice through Quilts of Honor.
Our Illiana Quilts of Honor Chapter will also make available twelve (12) Quilts of Honor for an Illiana Veteran's Day Event. ALL submissions will be given serious consideration and final determination made by July 31, 2024, and the announcement made October 1, 2024.
Since the inception of QOH - more than 9,000+ Quilts of Honor have been created by loving and caring hands of Volunteers throughout our country to honor and Thank our Combat Veterans for their sacrifice and service for our country. "Our hope is that these quilts will provide comfort, love and healing to those who have given so much."
