The Mission of Quilts of Honor®: "To
bestow a universal symbol and token of thanks, solace, and remembrance
to those who serve in harm's way to protect and defend our lives and
freedom".
Illiana Quilts of Honor is an ALL-Volunteer Member Group in good
standing with the National Quilts of Honor® non-profit organization. Our only focus is in creating and awarding beautiful Quilts of Honor to recognize and
honor our deserving Service Members and Combat Veterans for their service and sacrifice to our country.

Deb Lindley, the Chapter Leader of Illiana Quilts of Honor, and her longarm quilting machine she affectionately refers to as ‘Miss Betty’, have been quilting patriotic quilts for Veterans and Service Members since 2009, and have quilted over 750+ patriotic quilts to honor those who have served in our Military Branches of Service to protect and defend.
When the opportunity arose to establish the Illiana Quilts of Honor Chapter in the Illinois/Indiana region, she and her incredible volunteers gladly accepted the challenge.
