Quilts of Honor quilt blocks - We Need LOTS!

Current Quilts of Honor needs - we need LOTS of Star quilt blocks AND Stripe quilt blocks! 12 1/2" size to begin with. In Red/White/Blue/Gold colorways - ANY designs you like will work in the Quilts of Honor we need for at least two state events and our Veteran's Day Celebrations planned so far! (More than 50% of our previous quilts have gone to 'individual' Quilt Award ceremonies.)

2 1/2" strips/WOF sewn together to size/cut to size will work for the stripes.

(12" is the FINISHED size in a quilt, 12 1/2" is the size of the raw/unfinished quilt block prior to being sewn into a quilt.) This is the size we want! ANY Star you choose will work, you may create as many as you like! Drop off at one of our upcoming meetings OR,

We will be working on several drop-in Star quilts. Stumbled across this idea a year ago while designing a panel challenge quilt for an IRAQ Vet.  Took it to the next level while brainstorming w/fellow volunteer (Lisa - quilt designer extraordinaire and online quilt shop owner www.QuiltJubilee.com), and it works amazingly well.
